Ultra Wide Angle Lens Minolta X-700 Ultra Wide Angle Lenses For Nikon?

Ultra wide angle lenses for Nikon? - ultra wide angle lens minolta x-700

Has anyone suggestions for glass Ultra-wide angle to Nikon. I have 2 now in the eye, the Sigma 10-20 and Nikon 12-24. The price is not really a problem, a kind of why I always lean to the Nikon (resale, quality,) the name is. This need not be a zoom lens instead. In fact, just looking for suggestions at this point. Perhaps a diamond in the rough out there who may not be seen.

Nikon 12-24, I and my friend owns Sigma 10-20

Shooting Sigma marriage and was not available at first. My friend wanted to buy an extra wide-angle and, after my pictures.

At first I thought I had expected, but with the color images are compared with the Sigma is slightly off. Skin tone was not as nice as the Nikon. At first I thought it might be difference in the camera settings, then mounted his lens on my D70. And certainly no difference in color images.

I'm) very satisfied with 12-24 lens for photography of events (festivals, and dance. Almost never received less than 12 mm, a 2mm would not help anyway.

Good luck.

Although I have not seen the Nikon in detail, I swear on my life is better than Sigma. I'd never buy a bad experience with Sigma Sigman, and never a new one if my life depended on his career.

However, the wide angle I, the Tamron 11-18. It's nice to have, and since I am one of the most expensive photographer in New Zealand, I would say, should be a good target for my clients have continued to flow.

To the raw material for this view, send me an email and we will send you some.

Fixed focal length lenses are always better than a zoom and can be cheaper (but not much, because they usually have a better opening. Looking) have so decided, exactly what we want this angle I would be the focal length for most select suitable to my purpose and keep it.

And that brings us to another question: how will you use this aim? I have a 24mm, which is rarely used because it is an end to wide angle. 24 starts, to a certain bias to show, but can be partially controlled by the right of the lens. Nothing more, and increasingly a focal length of lens distortion or niche or special effects that will be tough.

The only reason I bought was used, because they and a very good price. Whenever I needed something more, I rented the lens. Only happened twice that I remember what it was a great savings.

If the concern is not money to go always with the best. Off brands can sometimes be too surprising that some goals Tamron 300/2.8 (unless, BACK, as if I spent a lot of time checking of the Arts). I also have a brand outside Doubler coordination for my Hasselblad system was absolutely unbelievable. But these are rare and should never be without a thumbs up from some photographer (s) or be considered a test of the lens. Finally, glass is a good piece of image quality.

I hope that helps.

You can also validate the Tokina 12-24 - has some good reviews. The Nikon 12-24 is highly regarded, but the Tokina seems to be a bargain for the performance. Personally, I will probably go with the Nikon, but would save a bit first!
